蘇迪勒颱風肆虐，在全省各地傳出嚴重災情，彰化縣地方稅務局除持續關注各地受災情況，即時主動辦理減免稅捐外，也提醒民眾，如有車輛、土地或房屋，因受災而有無法使用的情形，可在災害發生後檢附受災照片或其他相關證明文件，在法定期限內依規定提出申請。

該局表示，民眾房屋若毀損面積達全部面積三成以上，即可申請減（免）徵房屋稅，且縣內房屋只要淹水一日，即減免當月之房屋稅。而土地因山崩、地陷、流失、沙壓等環境限制及技術上無法使用，則地價稅全免。依規定，房屋稅受災戶應在災害發生之日起三○日內、受災土地所有人或典權人則應於九月二十二日前向該局提出申請。

若汽車、機車（151c.c.以上）因泡水受損無法使用，車主請於一個月內向車籍所在地監理機關辦理報廢或報停手續，該局即主動停徵使用牌照稅。

至於所得稅部分，遭受不可抗力災害之民眾申請所得稅抵減應於災害發生後三○日內，報請轄區國稅局稽徵所勘查核定後，即可列報災害損失。
